Max Samsa, Head Coach, Vardar Windsor Senior Boys

In news that is very exciting for Vardar Windsor and regional, elite-level soccer in general, Vardar Windsor is pleased to welcome Massimiliano “Max” Samsa to the position of Head Coach with the Vardar Windsor Senior Boys program.

Max is not unfamiliar to the area and the Vardar Windsor family, having been one of the lead Guest Coaches at the club’s regionally acclaimed Summer Soccer Camp.

Bringing an enormous amount of soccer knowledge and experience to the area, Max is looking forward to passing on this expertise to the players of Vardar Windsor, a few of which may be some of the most sought after College and University players locally. Max is a UEFA ‘B’ License holder (currently working on his ‘A’ license) meaning he is able to coach professional players worldwide. He also played at several clubs in Italy during his days as a professional, including AC Milan, U.S. Triestina, Calcio and F.C. Modena and played in various semi-pro leagues until retirement in 2011.

Max also played for the Italian U18 National Team and was voted Italian National Amateur Goalkeeper of the Year in 1990 as well as playing with the Italian National Beach Soccer team in 2005. And finally, he is the author of “Im para la tattica” (Tactical Training for Keepers).

Vardar Windsor expects that the addition of Max Samsa to our staff will elevate our notoriety as the regional club to join even further than it already is. He will push the boys to be their best with high expectations of dedication, desire and drive. HIs extensive knowledge of the game will help to drive the Vardar boys to even higher levels of recognition.

Welcome aboard, Max! Let’s show Michigan what our Canadian boys can do.
